Kirsten Hampton, Partner
Kirsten has advised national and Pacific Northwest clients on governance, management and search, fundraising campaigns of over $600 million, and partnerships with numerous Seattle companies, institutions, and philanthropies. Along with think tank Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer roles, she served as a Vice President and Associate Dean for two universities, including for the University of Rochester’s $425 million campaign. She has also worked extensively with fine and performing arts organizations, agencies, and institutions including at the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts. She began her career in international and legislative affairs, as an aide in Congress and British Parliament. She graduated with distinction from Cornell University and is an award-winning poet.
Sam Hampton PhD, Partner
An award-winning filmmaker, Sam is Executive Director of Seattle’s Social Justice Film Institute. He is also a management consultant and former Director of Management Consulting for 501 Commons, which provides management services to over 1,100 nonprofits annually in 25 states. He is a Founder of Docs in Progress, served as Executive Director of a D.C. Capitol Hill technology nonprofit, as Program Director at the Executive Leadership Foundation, and on staff of the New York State Health Department. Sam holds a PhD in Urban Education from Cleveland State University, undertaking his research at The Ohio State University. He has been a member of the Board of Trustees of The Harley School, and the Selection Committee of the American Film Institute's Documentary Film Festival.
Adrienne Hampton, Partner
Adrienne has broad experience in professional and consultancy roles in transboundary environmental and climate justice policy leadership, including oceans, climate, transportation and ports with the Duwamish River Community Coalition and Global Sustainability Scholars. She has managed complex cross-cultural projects for the Doris Duke Conservation Scholars Program, and facilitation of equity trainings with Equitable Future LLC for the cities of Seattle, Redmond, and Kent. Further, she has presented at the IUCN World Conservation Congress, International Sustainability Research & Innovation Congress, and the Salish Sea Environmental Equity and Justice Symposium. She is a Henry M. Jackson Fellow and holds Certification in Climate Change and Health from Yale School of Public Health, along with a BA and MPA from the University of Washington, where she has been a guest lecturer.
